形态描述：柔弱的缠绕藤本，除花外，全株无毛。叶膜质，心脏形，长3.5-6厘米，宽2.5-4.5厘米；叶脉在叶面扁平，在叶背微凸起；叶柄长1.5-4厘米，柔细，具单列短柔毛，顶端上面具丛生小腺体；叶腋内有时具1对近圆形的小叶，小叶长5-6毫米，宽5毫米。伞房状聚伞花序腋生，比叶为短；花序梗柔细；花萼外面被疏短柔毛，内面基部具5个腺体；花冠白色，钟状，裂片向右覆盖，张开时反卷；副花冠无或膜质5裂，着生于合蕊冠的中部，其裂片呈三角形；花药顶端具透明的膜质附属物；花粉块卵圆形，下垂；柱头棍棒状，顶端伸出花喉之外，2裂。蓇葖常单生，基部膨大，顶部渐尖，长4.5厘米，宽1.5厘米，外果皮具乳头状突起；种子扁圆形，边缘膜质，顶端具白色绢质种毛；种毛长2厘米。花期秋季，果期冬季。
